Overview
Understand the account, organization, module, feature, campaign, message, AI, channel, property, and commerce controls available in Zappilo plans.
Before You Start
- Access to the tenant Billing page for usage information.
- Super Admin access when creating plans, add-ons, or overrides.
Steps
1. Compound account limits
Plans can enforce both total capacity across an account and capacity inside each organization for agents and contacts.
2. Module and feature access
Navigation and backend actions are controlled by module and feature entitlements, not only by hidden frontend links.
3. Campaign protection
Campaigns use monthly campaign, recipients-per-send, recipients-per-month, per-contact, queue, and message checks before sending.
4. Message categories
Usage can distinguish campaign, automation, AI, human agent, transactional, and template messages while still enforcing a total limit.
5. Specialized modules
Website Channel, Property Hub, Commerce Hub, AI credits, contacts, and trial behavior use their own entitlement checks.
6. Operational controls
Usage resets, warning notifications, audit logs, upgrades, downgrades, add-ons, and overrides support account administration.
Recommended Practices
- Use the smallest set of clear entitlements needed to describe a plan.
- Validate related limits, such as per-organization values not exceeding account totals.
- Use add-ons and approved overrides instead of editing historical usage.
What Happens Next
Plans can control capacity and access consistently across user actions, imports, APIs, AI, automation, channels, and campaign processing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can an add-on increase one limit?
Yes. Add-ons can add capacity on top of the base plan through the entitlement foundation.
Are frontend notices the only enforcement?
No. Limits are enforced by backend services, while frontend notices explain usage and blocked actions.
