Overview

Build a structured WhatsApp flow, configure its nodes, and test the customer journey before activation.

Before You Start

  • Flow Maker access in the current plan.
  • A connected WhatsApp account and approved message content where required.
  • A defined trigger and expected customer outcome.

Steps

1. Open Flows

Choose Flows from the tenant navigation and create a new flow for the selected organization.

2. Define the entry condition

Choose the trigger or starting condition that should place a contact into the flow.

3. Build the journey

Add message, condition, delay, calendar, assignment, or other available nodes in the required order.

4. Configure every node

Open each node and complete its required message, variable, timing, or destination settings.

5. Validate and test

Review the full path with a test contact and confirm that branches, delays, and stopping conditions behave correctly.

6. Activate carefully

Enable the flow only after its message content and target audience have been reviewed.

Recommended Practices

  • Use clear names that describe the trigger and business outcome.
  • Prevent contacts from entering the same follow-up path repeatedly.
  • Review plan limits for automation runs, follow-ups, and messages.

What Happens Next

Eligible contacts can move through a repeatable WhatsApp journey with controlled messaging and actions.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did a flow stop sending?

Check whether the flow is active, the contact still meets its conditions, and the account has available automation and message capacity.

Should I test with my full audience?

No. Start with a small internal test group and review every branch before activation.
